The Midwest BOOM 7-on-7 Club season came to an end in late June. BOOM finished the year being ranked No.1 and No.2 in the country by NFA7v7. Over a 6 month stretch the club won 9 out of 10 regular season tournaments at the high school level.

-BOOM currently has 19 athletes committed to Division 1 college programs for the class of 2018.

- 1st program to qualify 3 Club Teams for the IMG National Championship

Drake Davis Naperville (Ill.) Naperville North
Davis was a three-year starter for BOOM Black. During his tenure, he helped BOOM win 17 championships.
Greg Newsome Carol Stream (Ill.) IMG Academy
Newsome ended his BOOM career a 4x National Champion. Began the season with zero Power 5 offers and ended the season committed to Northwestern University.
Charles Robinson Aurora (Ill.) Waubonsie Valley
Robinson began the season unranked and with zero scholarship offers. Ended the season with 10 offers and is currently deciding between Iowa State, Minnesota and Mississippi State.
Next Up
BOOM will return next season with a chip on their shoulders after falling just short of their goal in 2017. The program will be looking to continue their dominance across the country with a new crop of athletes. Next year’s team will have some large shoes to fill in the clubs pursuit of winning a National Championship.
