Sunday, December 3rd, Midwest BOOM will host the first 10th & 11th Grade 7v7 tryout of the 2018 season. Athletes from all over the Midwest are expected to be in attendance to compete for one of 80 spots on BOOM's 4 National 7v7 18u teams. For 6 years BOOM has been one of the top off-season football programs in the nation, specializing in competition, development, and exposure. Over 250 of BOOM's alumni have gone on to play Division 1 football including DB Julian Love (Notre Dame), DB Manny Rugamba (Iowa), DB Isaiah Robertson (Notre Dame), QB Clayton Thorson (Northwestern), and WR CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma).

"It doesn't matter how many offers you have, or how many stars you have. At tryouts you are only known as a number. You have to earn the right to be a Midwest BOOM football player. You do that by dominating the competition at the tryouts", said General Manager J.R. Niklos.
