2017 BOOM Signing Day

National Signing Day is the culmination of years of hard work for high school seniors. The class of 2017 BOOM athletes is the largest class in program history. Players who sacrificed their egos for months in order to have team success will see their hard work pay off. BOOM athletes are not satisfied with just signing to college programs but they strive to be impact players for their schools. They head off to college with work ethic coaches

ATH Isaiah Robertson (Notre Dame)

Robertson was the first ever three-year starter for BOOM Black. At Neuqua Valley he was one of the best two way players in the country. He picked to attend Notre Dame where he will be playing safety. Robertson decided to enroll early and is already in South Bend and will be a full participant in spring ball for the Fighting Irish.

WR Chris Bell (Minnesota)

Within hours of becoming the new head coach at Minnesota, P.J. Fleck told Bell that he was going to be a star in the Big10. Bell committed to Minnesota earlier this month and he has the potential to be the face of their program. He possesses all the traits to become a great college player. Further down the road it would not be surprising if Bell found himself on an NFL roster.

DL Jacub Panasiuk (Michigan State)

Panasiuk will be joining his older brother Mike in East Lansing next fall. Michigan State rarely redshirts their players and will have an opportunity to play early. He has a quick burst off the line of scrimmage and physical at the point of attack.

LB: Owen Piche (Navy)

Piche pledged to Navy during the summer and never looked back. After he made the transition to linebacker in the spring he saw his stock rise. Piche is a throwback football player that rarely leaves the field.

TE Logan Christopherson (Missouri)

After his visit to Missouri he fell in love with the Tigers. Christopherson was one of the most improved players in Illinois during the spring and summer. Missouri is getting a physical blocker and a good route runner.

WR Jace James (Northwestern)

James was an unknown before joining the BOOM program. After being a top performer at multiple 7v7 events last spring scouts and coaches noticed how special he was. James will be staying home and playing for Pat Fitzgerald at Northwestern.

WR CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma)

Lamb played a pivotal role in helping BOOM win the Pylon National Championship. He has the ability to score anytime he touches the ball. Lamb will be paired with Baker Mayfield next fall and has the potential to be his new favorite target.
