Alec Pierce talks Cincinnati offer

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West three-star receiver Alec Pierce remains one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state of Illinois. He recently picked up an offer from the Cincinnati Bearcats. Caught up with Pierce to see where things stand after his latest offer. “Coach Denbrock stopped by practice and offered. I was excited to hear the news,” said Pierce. Denbrock is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Cincinnati. Prior to arriving at Cincinnati, he coached at Notre Dame. Chicago (Ill.) Marist receiver Jadon Thompson had an eventful week. He received all-Conference honors and picked up a big time scholarship offer. Thompson announced an offer from the University of Illinois on Thursday evening. This is his first offer from from a Power-5 program. “It’s a huge opportunity to get the chance to play at U of I.
